Think of "elements" as categories. MXD uses these to break up your files to help you when you need to do a revision. Each element group (Kicks, Strings, Lead Vocals 1) can be revised using a revison credit.

MXD saved files on our secure server 6 months. Until then, you can do as many revisions as you want!

The best way to upload files and make revisions is a CPU. Phones have a hard time uploading big files so we suggest using your computer for best results. 

Some people need certain versions of their mix, we get that. MXD can get you what you need for a small fee. Please email Support@getmxd.com if you do need them!

MXD can accept WAV, AIFF or MP3. 

MXD will send you a 24bit 48k mix print. You can create an mp3 or 16bit 44.1 wav easily using your DAW or iTunes.

Whether you send your song to get mixed from any top mix engineer or use MXD, we always recommend doing a rough mix. It always helps the final product.
